Code of Business Conduct (COBC) Reporting Process

Under our Code of Conduct (COBC), we promote a culture of safety, accountability and integrity in every project, program and community we serve. Reporting suspected violations of the COBC, internal controls, and noncompliance with laws is essential for KBR to carry out its mission with integrity.  Your report will be forwarded to the Director of Business Conduct and the COBC team, who are members of the Corporate Legal Department and report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. You will receive a confirmation that your report was received and the COBC team will follow-up with any questions, so please check the case status for a response from the COBC team (it is important to provide as many details as possible including if there are any witnesses to the incident). Your report may be investigated by COBC investigators, other members of the Legal Department, or depending on the type of allegation referred to the appropriate business function.  COBC investigations are conducted confidentially and independently.

As KBR President and CEO, I am committed to conducting our business sustainably and safely, in compliance with applicable laws, and with honesty and integrity. Every KBR director, officer, employee, contractor and agent is expected to do the same. Our principles are contained in the Code of Business Conduct (COBC), which provides the road map to ensure that ethical and legal standards of conduct are followed by all in conducting our business.

I encourage anyone who is aware of unethical behavior, misconduct or potentially illegal activities to speak up and report conduct that is contrary to the COBC and our ethical principles and values. I am wholeheartedly committed to promoting an environment where employees will report their concerns without any fear of retaliation. KBR does not tolerate retaliation against employees or other partners who in good faith report conduct that is contrary to the COBC and supports employees who refuse to engage in unethical conduct.   

The KBR Ethics Hotline is available to report these concerns confidentially or anonymously. KBR has partnered with Convercent, an independent company that specializes in confidential and anonymous reporting, to provide additional assurances of the integrity of the reporting process.   

There may be instances where you have a question regarding certain compliance or ethical matters that concern you.  If you would like to discuss the matter, the KBR Ethics Hotline enables you to communicate with the COBC staff confidentially or anonymously.  

KBR depends on your wholehearted support of the COBC and your willingness to speak up concerning unethical behavior and misconduct to ensure KBR is synonymous with integrity in all that we do.
